- There is no assurance that the name being used for the criminal record search is a valid league name, disabling the alias searching function.
- The social security number helps to distinguish between people with the same/similar name, so the results that are returned may not be accurate.
- Since social security numbers are used to determine a name match prior to the actual database check, the results will be returned immediately as a name validation failure. From here it is recommended that you obtain proof of their legal name in the form of a government issued ID.
- Without a social security number, the verified search will not be as robust and can lead to other issues if criminal records are found.
