How to Insert a Link on a Page

NOTE: You will only be able to create a link on a page that was created initially as a "Blank" page. System generated pages will not give you the "Edit" option, which is required to edit page content.

To insert a URL:

  1. Click Home to access your web page.
  2. Navigate to the page in which you would like to insert the link.
  3. On the right corner of the page, click Edit.
  4. In the content area, type the text you would like to link from.
  5. Highlight the text you've typed, and click the Link icon in the editor.
  6. Type your link in the URL text field.
  7. Click OK.
  8. When finished, click Submit.

To link to a File:

  1. Click Home to access your web page.
  2. Navigate to the page in which you would like to insert the link.
  3. On the right corner of the page, click Edit.
  4. In the content area, type the text you would like to link from.
  5. Highlight the text you've typed, and click the Link icon in the editor.
  6. Click Browse Server.
  7. Click Link to a File.
  8. Select a file from the File Directory.
    • You can upload a new file by clicking on Choose File, select your file from your computer, then click Open. Click Upload.
  9. Click OK to insert the file.
  10. When finished, click Submit.

To link to an Existing Page:

  1. Click Home to access your web page.
  2. Navigate to the page in which you would like to insert the link.
  3. On the right corner of the page, click Edit.
  4. In the content area, type the text you would like to link from.
  5. Highlight the text you've typed, and click the Link icon in the editor.
  6. Click Browse Server.
  7. Choose the page you would like to link to.
  8. Click OK.
  9. When finished, click Submit.
